The ThermoWhite System - high thermal insulation performance and sustainability are not mutually exclusive

Because ThermoWhite thermal and impact sound insulation has a positive ecological footprint! The use of natural mineral raw materials and recycled EPS / Styrofoam makes ThermoWhite a pioneer in environmental protection for building materials. A study by the Institute of Waste Management at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna certifies ThermoWhite positive ecological footprint and highest environmental compatibility.

Environmentally friendly during production

In the production of ThermoWhite WD products, recycled polystyrene (Styrofoam) used. ThermoWhite is also recyclable and must not be disposed of as waste.

Energy-efficient insulation is more important than ever

One energy-efficient thermal insulation is indispensable nowadays, as it contributes to reducing the energy consumption of buildings and thus also decreasing CO2 emissions. Good insulation prevents heat from escaping in winter and heat from entering in summer. This leads to Heating and electricity costs are falling and the CO2 emissions will be reduced.

The ThermoWhite thermal and impact sound insulation is also cost-effective, as in the long run it leads to Energy cost savings leads. While the initial investment for high-quality insulation is higher, this is offset by lower energy costs usually quickly recouped.

Comparison of insulation values with ThermoWhite insulation in theory and practice:

Installation with ThermoWhite
(0.049 W/mK)

Thermowhite insulation values comparison

PRAXIS U-value: 0.818

ThermoWhite jackets the pipes and completely fills any slots or gaps. This creates no cold or heat bridges. The calculated U-value is therefore better in practice.

Installation of EPS insulation boards
(0.038 W/mK)

Thermowhite insulation values compared to panels

PRAXIS U-value: 0.988

EPS insulation boards are time-consuming and inefficient to install on pipes in the installation level of the concrete ceiling. In practice, the U-value is worse than on paper due to the resulting gaps.
